The emergency department medicates over 65.000 patients per year and is therefore one of the biggest ED in Hessen. It is specialized in trauma care, cardiology, neurology and of course all the other departments of the Hospital.
It is a special fact of the Sana Klinikum Offenbach that it has an extra emergency department, which is specialized in emergency medicine with an own clinic structure. Fore Germany this is not a normal fact.Every acute surgical or medical problem will be first treated in this ED.
